I love my little Valentines!

Before our annual pass expired, we bundled up and went to the zoo one last time…

And we finished off with hot chocolate in the parking lot!

“yaundry”…

November 14, 2011

After living in a studio apartment for 6 months, we bought a house!  We moved in a couple of weeks ago and have been crazy busy unpacking, painting and getting started on basement finishing.  A couple of days after moving in, I decided to tackle the laundry.  It was after all, my scheduled laundry day.  The Bub was walking down the hallway, and stopped dead in his tracks (like a cartoon), dramatically turned his head to the side and incredulously asked, “WE have our OWN yaundry machine?!?  WE DON’T HAVE TO GO TO THE YAUNDRY-MAT ANYMORE!!!”  My sentiments exactly!  After 6 months of lugging all of our dirty laundry down the stairs, loading it into the car, driving to the ghetto laundr0mat then spending hours sorting, washing, drying, folding while watching daytime television (quality), then loading it all back into the car, then back up the stairs to our apartment.  It was an event.  Every other Monday.  But…no more!  It has been like Christmas opening all of our boxes as we unpack things that have been in storage for so long, but the things I am appreciating most are a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stove and disposal.  Although, since the stomach flu hit our family this weekend, I am actually very thankful to have more than one bathroom again too.

Miabella Portraits needs models! I have teamed up with Emily from Which Goose Accessories. She is launching a children’s line of her amazing flower crowns and other fairy-tale inspired accessories and I will be photographing said accessories for her website!  I am looking for children, ages 1-10. If you would like your child(ren) to participate, please send an e-mail to miabellaportrais@gmail.com. Each child chosen will receive a free photography session and a $100 print credit!

Vintage lantern, rusted wheelbarrow, shattered glass, haystack, red barn…the list goes on and on!  With all the variety, it is no surprise that I have a ton of favorite images from this senior photography session:
